Our Values
-
Curiosity
In our work and and in our lives, we are guided by the question, “What’s possible?”. Activating this humble curiosity facilitates collaboration, trust and fresh perspective-laying the foundation for creative solutions and growth.
-
Joy
Joy is a practice that plays a central role in achieving excellence. Joy energizes us, so we can sustain our commitment to this essential work. Joy also powerfully factiliates connection. From this place of connection we can catalyze well-being and impact with our clients.
-
Belonging
Belonging is being welcomed into community exactly as we are. Feeling brave enough and safe enough to show up as ourselves. In our work, belonging is the soil in which ideas, skills and information become deeply rooted for growth. Belonging is the foundation for well-being.
-
Optimism
Optimism is our deeply held belief that the success of this work, this community, this movement is inevitable. At times, the arc of progress can seem long, but we are lifted by the energy of our co-conspirators and grounded in the certainty that we are making a meaningful difference.
-
Impact
We are part of an ecosystem of well-being which depends on small actions done with intention, purpose and collective care. We are committed to using our skills, strengths and our stories for positive impact in the legal profession.
How we give back
Accessibility
We are committed to equitable distribution of well-being resources through scholarship and sliding scale options for public aid and non-profit lawyers.
Reinvestment
We are dedicating a percentage of ARI proceeds to community-based mental health programming to support a more human justice system.
Fundraising
We are mobilizing the community of legal professionals to raise money and raise awareness for youth mental health. Our Mind Fitness Challenge is coming October 2023.
